La Chablisienne Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Expressive, concentrated notes of red & blackcurrant and raspberry. Aeration reveals aromas of candied cherries.
Ruby colour with light garnet reflections. 1st nose is expressive and concentrated with notes of small, tangy red fruits. (currant, raspberry) Aeration reveals aromas of candied cherries and menthol. The palate is fruity and spicy (pepper) with melted tannins which give it a beautiful structure. We find cocoa, toasted notes at the end of the palate which provide length. The whole is delicious with nice density.

Ratings & Awards,
The Vineyard
The Chablis vineyards are some of the oldest in France. Over many years, the exceptional reputation of the white wines, produced from Chardonnay grapes, has spread to all four corners of the world.
Cultivated on both banks of the river Serein, the vines of the appellation encompass seventeen villages. The unique character of the wines originates in the predominantly Kimmeridgian soil where we find
sediment composed of large quantities of fossilised oysters called exogyra virgula.
This exceptional soil, which is found in a few other places throughout the world, gives the terroir its minerality, finesse, and incomparable crystalline tonality.
