The Vineyard
House Gruet has been in Champagne since 1670. The winery has been passed
on from generation to generation, finding fulfilment in 1975 with the
launch of the first wines by Claude Gruet. He started producing 2500
bottles in 1975. He is currently working on a 20-hectares vineyard,
producing from its own grapes and those of other producer they select,
to produce around 2 million bottles a year in total.
