Garnet red, light and shiny with purple hues. Elegant and complex, expresses aromas of strawberry, undergrowth, cherry to black, and sweet spices relayed by notes of vanilla.
Within a couple of years, Arrogant Frog has made itself the mascot of our Estates.
The humble winemaker shows that with creativity, know-how and a sense of

pure pleasure, at a reasonable price! Arrogant Frog represents our South of
France “Art de Vivre”. Château Arrogant Frog is made out of 20 hectares (50 acres)
in the Limoux grand cru. The Arrogant Frog cuvées are Château Arrogant Frog,
Arrogant Frog reserve, as well as single varietal or blends.

The Vineyard
The grapes are harvested at night to avoid
oxidation. The fermentation takes place at
controlled temperature between 24 and 28°C
followed with a traditional maceration of 15 days
with daily pumping over. Malolactic fermentation
and aging are are partly done in barrels and partly in
vats.
Terroir: Clay and limestone, locally gritty
Vineyard: 12 to 22 years old
Pruning: Guyot simple
Density of plantation: 4400 plants/hectare
Harvest: mechanical
Average yield: 45hl/ha
Altitude: 200-250 meters
