The Winston, the first sparkling cyder in the world to be bottled as an imperial pint. The apples that went into the making of this special sip were picked and pressed in 2018, before being fermented by Head Cyder Maker Paul Ross, and laid down in bottle for two years. The result? A vibrant cyder with a pale straw colour and fine mousse. Candy, brioche and custard apple on the nose, with lychee, mango and crisp apple to taste.

Inspired by former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, this magnificent sparkling cyder is both a testament to the man himself, and a tipple we believe he would have loved. Vibrantly aromatic, with a fine
mousse of bubbles, this award-winning drop offers mouthwatering candy, brioche and custard apple notes, with lychee, mango and apple on the finish. Made like the finest sparkling wines, using the 'traditional method'
of production, The Winston is made here on the estate from specially selected dessert apples. Pressed and slowly cold-fermented in our cellar, the cyder is laid down in imperial pint-sized bottles with a little extra yeast for up to two years. As it re-ferments, the cyder
develops extra complexities of flavour and fine bubbles. When it's ready, our cellar masters disgorge the yeast and release the cyder in small batches.

two at lunch and one at dinner. It pleases everyone, even the producer"
– so said Churchill of his preferred Champagne size. Inspired by the
great man, The Winston is the first sparkling cyder in the world to be
bottled as an imperial pint.

Our cider is spelt with a ‘y’ to preserve the old West Country
tradition, originating from a time when it was used to indicate superior
strength and quality.
