The Vineyard
Monção’s Winery was founded in 1958 thanks to the initiative of 25 vine growers. It is located in the middle of the “Vinhos Verdes” region in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço, on the Portuguese-Spanish border. The wine is a blend of Alvarinho and Trajadura grapes, hence its name – Trajarinho.
