Hallowe'en - Apple Bobbing Gin - The Gower Gin Company
Our Apple Bobbing Gin celebrates the Welsh apple bobbing tradition, where the first person to pull a floating apple out of a barrel of water with just their teeth was the next person to get married in their village. This game was typically celebrated for Noson Calan Gaeaf on the 31st of October.
Our special edition gin is based on an autumnal spiced recipe which is then double infused with red apples, Madagascan vanilla and cinnamon. The result is a delicious spicy gin that works very well in a range of cocktails or as a G&T with a slice of apple and a cinnamon stick as a garnish.
