The Vineyard
Vermentino is one of the few white grapes that have adapted perfectly to the climate of the Mediterranean To-scana. It loves the sea breeze and sunlight, and returns a savoriness and right acidity that result in an irresistible freshness. Upon arrival at the winery, healthy grapes are dera-sped and gently pressed.
By pressing, different fractions of juice are obtained, each of which is cooled in order to promote natural settling. The clear must is then poured into stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperatures. Thereafter, the wine follows no aging to maintain its typical freshness and floral notes.
