Deanston 18 Year Old Highland Single Malt

Originally laid down in second fill casks, this 18 year old was finished in first fill Bourbon from Kentucky, before being returned to the heart of their vaulted warehouse at Deanston Distillery. With meter thick stone walls and roof, this unique warehouse ensures a steady temperature that provides year round, smooth and even maturation. The result? The Deanston signature profile, of sweet, honeyed fruit with a deep rich finish, has been amplified to reach perfection – a Deanston 18 Year Old that is the very best that nature, knowledge and patience can provide.

Quite aromatic, on the nose with balanced American oak notes. Floral, malty, grassy, vanilla and honey with hints of tobacco and nutmeg.  Sweet and spicy, citrus, barley sugar, gingerbread, Manuka honey and white pepper flavours on the palate.   Dry and spicy on the finish with a warming gingery honeyed tail.
