Rimapere Pinot Noir
Wonderfully aromatic and developed on the nose with notes of cracked black pepper, red cherry, wood smoke, earthy spice and cranberry. There’s a freshness on the palate which indicates youth, yet this wine is definitely ready to drink but will evolve in the cellar. The palate is elegant and well balanced with a lovely concentration of fruit. This is only the third vintage of Pinot produced at the estate, and most definitely the best to date.

Ratings & Awards,
The Vineyard
Born out of Benjamin de Rothschild’s desire to create a leading
Sauvignon Blanc, the Rimapere estate in Marlborough, New Zealand was
chosen for its exceptional terroir and climate. The name of the property
was a deliberate choice: it means “five arrows” in Maori and
simultaneously honours the Rothschild family’s emblem and traditional
New Zealand culture.
