Beautiful ripe red fruits on the nose. More of the same on the palate, especially raspberry and red cherry backed up with a nice pepper spice. The tannins are supple and elegant, with a refreshing acidity on the finish. Produced in a relatively new appelation which borders both Macon and Beaujolais amongst others, this is an extremely good value red Burgundy.
An ideal red to accompany light white meat dishes or even fish dishes for those who prefer red wine.
