Topaz-coloured wine with greenish reflections, of extraordinary power with quite complex aromas, of nuts, rosemary and honey.
The 'SUPERIOR 10 ANOS' goes through a 6 month maceration before at least 10 years of aging, mostly in used, French oak barrels. This time has given it a wonderful complexity of aromas and flavours. Luscious orange, florals and spices mix with sweet almonds and just a hint of rancio. The 160 g/L residual sugar requires balancing, and they've got this spot on!
You could have this with your pudding, or on its own before or after a meal.
